How to clean the plates of your GHD MAX® STRAIGHTENER?

It is common for the products you apply to your hair to leave deposits on your straightener. To remove the residue left on the plates of the ghd max straightener, we strongly advise you to clean it regularly.

A well-cleaned ghd straightener is a tool that gains in performance. Indeed, the device will slide better on your hair, more smoothly, without snagging. This will naturally influence the appearance of the results of your straightening.

What routine should you adopt to clean your GHD MAX® STRAIGHTENER?

Here are some tips :

Gently rub the plates of your switched off and cooled straightener with a soft damp cloth, well drained. Prefer filtered water, which will avoid the risk of limescale deposits.

Repeat the operation with a soft cloth, moistened with alcohol, if the deposits are too heavy.

Replace the alcohol with acetone if the dirt still does not disappear. Leave it to act for about thirty minutes, then clean with water, using a cloth.
